Le Roy, No. 9378, Galerie de l'Egalité, No. 88, Palais Royal, circa 1795. Fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, dumb quarter repeating watch.

Double body, Directoire, the bezels with blue, white and red geometrical champleve enamelled decoration, the back of blue translucent enamel over engine turning, centered with a white and light blue champleve enamelled rosette. D. White enamel, with Breguet numerals (slightly restored). Gold arrow hands. M. Hinged, frosted and gilt, full plate, with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock, pierced and engraved with the monogram "L.R.". Repeating on the case by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial, the gilt dial rim and the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
