Notes

All the pocket chronometers made by Lange with Karrusel regulator, are built with movement of 1 b quality, the jewels are not in gold screwed settings. The Karrusel regulator, patented by Richard Lange in 1901 under the No. 121267, is very similar to that invented by Bonniksen, but with few improvements, such as a new disposition of the carriage, allowing a larger balance, and of course, his gold lever escapement. According to Martin Hubert, only 91 pieces of this type were manufactured. This watch is described and illustrated in color, in Reinhard Meis: Das Tourbillon, pp. 302-303.
