Notes

Interesting example of a self winding watch produced at the end of the XVlllth century. The Arabic numerals of the dial, are typical of that invented by Jean Antoine Lepine as soon as 1775 and used by Breguet for most of his early work. The form of the winding weight refers to the first balloon ascent by Pilâtre de Rozier, on 21 Novembre 1783.
