Pellaton, Alexandrie, Swiss, circa 1780. Interesting and rare brass cased quarter repeating alarum coach-watch.

C. Double body, covered with chagreen (later). D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, central revolvig alarm setting disc. Fine blued steel hands. M. Brass full plate with column pillarsd, the back plate engraved with scrolls, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain three armed balance, pierced and engraved gilt brass cock. In good condition. Diam. 104 mm.
