Huguenin & Grezet, Locle (Swiss), No. 12150, made for the American market, circa 1875. Fine and unusual 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased, keyless independent seconds watch with split seconds chronograph and 1/4 seconds "diablotine".

C. Four body, massive "pomme et gouge", polished with flat cover and back and reeded borders. Gold glazed cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman nume rals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary "foudroyante". Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 20-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" deco-ration, double train with differential winding, 27 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escape-ment, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Independent seconds, " foudroyante" and split seconds "stop/join/reset", operated with steel push pieces, on the border of the bezel. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
