C. Three body Empire, with reeded band and engine turned back. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. Eccentric, engine-turned gold, with Breguet numerals on enamel cartouches, outer chased cornucopias. Blued steel Breguet hands. On a large apertu re above the dial a three coloured gold Father of Time is sitting against a blued steel ground. Driven by the repeating train, two Cupids suddenly appear, to strike hours and quarters on his two scythes. M. Frosted and gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, giIt brass continental cock and polished steel end-piece. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
