Pink Gold "Tri-Compax" Universal, Genève, "Tri-Compax". Made circa 1950. Fine and rare, large, astronomic, water-resistant, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with round-button chronograph, registers, triple date, moon phases and an 18K yellow gold Universal buckle.

C. Three-body, polished, inclined bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down case back. Dust cap over the movement. D. Brushed silver with applied pink gold facted baton indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, graduation for the date around the moon phase aperture, apertures for the days of the week and the months. Pink gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 281, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
