C. Circular molded base, lacquered globe with political divisions of the 18th century, rotating once in 24 hours in a brass pivoted ring. D. Annular ring with 24 white enamel cartouches painted with Roman numerals. Blued steel single hand with gilt brass Sun at the end. M. 89 mm, brass, large central barrel, platform with straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating flat balance spring. Signed ?JWB? on green cartouche on the globe. Dim. height 21 cm.
