?Theseus & Hercules? French. Made circa 1840. Fine and rare, gold and mother-of-pearl cameo watch key and a gold and glass folding seal watch key.

The first: oval, gold border with shell and wire terminals, swivel suspension loop, set with a double-sided mother-of-pearl cameo on one side a profile of Theseus and Hercules, on the other the Nemean lion. The second: oval, folding gold frame with swivel loop, double-sided clear glass matrix engraved with a coat of arms on one side and a monogram on the other. Dim. 44 x 54 mm. Cameo key in good condition, seal key with slight chipping to matrix.
