C. Outer: two-body, gilt-metal, shagreen covered, pierced sound holes. Inner: two-body, the pierced foliate bezel decorated with blue and red translucent enamel flowerheads and scrolls, set with seed pearls, the back with a finely painted on enamel panel of flowers on a pale blue ground, pearl-set border, red, white and green enamel surround and outer border decorated to match the bezel, shuttered winding hole. Gilt-metal dust cover. D. White enamel with Islamic numerals, outer dot minute track and Islamic five minute numerals. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. 31 mm., frosted gilt, full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock, silver regulation disc with Islamic numerals, repeating on a bell activated by depressing the pendant. Dial and dust cap signed. Diam. 54 mm. Property of a French Collector
