?Tourbillon Chronometer Working Model? Deutsche Uhrmacherschule, Glashutte in Sachsen. Made by M. Stellmann, Hannover, circa 1920. Very fine and rare, working model of a one-minute tourbillon with pivoted detent chronometer escapement.
C. Square mahogany base, brass-framed glazed cover. M. Brushed brass base plate, going barrel in the base, two-pillar bridge with foliate engraving and initials ?MS?, matte silvered one-minute tourbillon carriage with three turned brass ringed pillars, Earnshaw type chronometer escapement with pivoted detent and steel locking pin, free-sprung bimetallic compensation balance with meantime and temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed on the base plate and carriage. Dim. 19.5 x 20 x 11 cm.
