Notes

Around the turn of the century, the firm of Brinckmann & Lange, from Bremen, produced a very small number of pocket watches with full-plate silver movements. These movements, as well as their cases, were made in Switzerland, and were based on the design of those of A. Lange & Söhne. Previously it was thought that the movements had been made in Glashütte, but this has been proven to be incorrect. This watch was described in the article ?Taschenuhren von Brinckmann & Lange in Bremen? by Otto Habinger, in Alte Uhren, 4/90.
