C. Chatelaine with the clip and three panels decorated with neo-classical allegorical scenes painted en grisaille, with four chains for suspension of accoutrements. Outer: Two-body, the back enamelled en grisaille with a scene of Venus and Adonis within a maroon enamel surround, bordered with white pellets. Inner: Two-body, polished. D. White enamel, with Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. GiIt, fullplate with turned balluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm steel balance with flat spring. Pierced and engraved cock with dIamond end-stone. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 44mm. Overall height 180mm.
