Audemas Piguet, No. 26865, Swiss, circa 1950. Very fine and slim, 18ct. gold, minute-repeating, moonphase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar and split-second chronograph.
C. Three piece, massive, "variée", polished and satiné with bevel bezels. D. Matt silver with applied black indexes, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for days of the week, months with leapyear cycle, date and seconds with inner moon-phase and age aperture. Black "bâtons" hands. M. 18-, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 35 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan-neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Visible split-second chronograph work with push-piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In excellent condition Diam. 50 mm.
