Morisset R. & C. Lukins, London, made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Very rare and fine pair of gold, silver enamel and stones center-seconds watches.
C. Paste set bezels, the backs with symetrical blue champlevé translucent enamelled scenes of birds in a garden. D. White enamel with Roman and Arabic numerals. Gold arrow hands. M. Gilt brass, full plate, fusee, verge escapement, English cock and diamond endstone. Very good condition. Diam. 48 mm. Morisset R. & D. Lukins, London, were famous as makers of boxes with enamel decoration during the latter half of the XVIII century.
