Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, both covers decorated with translucent Imperial blue enamel over engine-turning, the front painted with a portrait of a lady with flowers in her hair, the back with a young couple on a grassy bank, pearl-set bezels. Hinged silver-gilt cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 44 mm., 19.5???, frosted gilt, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self?compensating flat balance spring, repeating on gongs activated by a pusher in the band. Dial signed Chronophone. Diam. 53 mm.
