?Split-Seconds Chronograph with Secondes Foudroyantes? Swiss, No. 25208. Made for the Indian market, circa 1900. Very fine and unusual, 18K gold hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, 30-minute register and 1/4 seconds diablotine.

C. Four body, "bassine", polished, the front cover engraved with a crest and monogram, the back with a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette inscribed ?Exam.d by Goldsmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, London?.
D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost chronograph ring, subsidiary 30-minute register and 1/4 seconds diablotine. Blued steel "spade" hands.
M. 19''', frosted gilt, 17 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph with visible work, start/stop and split-seconds push pieces in the band. Diam. 54 mm.
