Dent, London, Swiss, made for the Turkish market, circa 1870. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting-cased pocket chronometer, with original rosewood fitted box, additional dial and spare glasses.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets" engineturned. Gold cuvette, engine-turned on the edge. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Additional white enamel dial with Turkish numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold paste-set hands. M. 20-, bar caliber, gilt brass, 15 jewels part in gold screwed settings, fusee with maintaining power, pivoted detent escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel spherical balance spring. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
