Notes

A very rare configuration of carriage clock. The punch mark may probably be that of Victorien Bousset of Morez in the Jura. His work and the probable attribution are discussed by C. Allix in Carriage Clocks, p. 203, 204, and in the Biography section, p. 433, 434, where the punch mark is illustrated. A very similar clock, but with barometer and moon is also illustrated.
