Anonymous ,Swiss, circa 1900. Fine silver-gilt and enamel singing bird box inset with a watch.

C. Two-part with lobed corners, decorated with black champleve enamel ,the edges bright-cut engraved, the top with white and green enamelled foliage borders. Lid enamelled with a lakeside landscape. Pierced floral grill. Multicoloured feathered bird with moving body, wings, tail and beak. M. Brass frame, going-barrel and rectangular belows. Inset watch with oval silvered dia_ ,Arabic numerals and blued-steel hands. Nickeled 15 jewellever movement with cut bimetallic balance and flat balance spring. In good condition. Dim. 3.8 x 9.8 x 6.2 cm.
