C.K, Stuttgart, (?Conrad Kreizer), circa 1620. Very rare miniature weight-driven wall clock with pirouette escapement.

C. Gilt copper,with concave moulded skirt, hinged side doors and domed top with pierced ballustrade,surmounted and flanked by square section onion dome finials terminating with crescents. Balance visible in an aperture in the dial plate. D. Contemporary gilt brass with Roman hour numerals, half-hour marks and silver touch pins. Single hand. M. Lantern frame with square section steel pillars, brass plates and wheel trains, verge escapement with pirouette and facetted steel balance. Hour-striking on a bell with steel locking-plate. In very good conditions with some restorations. Dim. 13.5 x 6.6 x 6.6 cm,
