Anonymous, Swiss, possibly made by Moyse Gevril, Fils, Genève, circa 1780. Fine and very rare, 18 ct. gold early self-winding watch with center seconds and decorated dial.
C. Double body, Louis XVI, polished. D. Eccentric white enamel with Roman and Arabic numerals, outer Arabic seconds ring, subsidiary sector for the index. A courting couple finely painted in the center. Gold Louis XV bands. M. Frosted and gilt full plate, with conical pillars, going-barrel, plain balance, flat balance spring. Gilt-metal winding weight pivoted on the edge of the back-plate, banking springs fixed on each sides. Gilt brass dust rim. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
