C. Four body, massive, with cast floral bezels, back panel enamelled with a soldier making love, not war, in a thoroughly exhibitionist manner. D. Engine-turned gold with Roman numerals. Blued-steel "moon" hands. M. 20"' frosted and gilt bridge caliber, 8 jewels, ruby cylinder escapement with plain gilt balance, flat balance spring parachute and Breguet type compensation curb. Repeating on gongs by means of the push pendant. With stone set tipsy key and short chain. In good condition. Diam. 50mm.
