Very rare three quarter plate movement with double locking, inverted lever chronometer escapement. circa 1860. White enamel dial. O.T.L. No. 39. In this escapement drawn from the Robin detent-lever, with direct impulse of the 'scape wheel on the balance staff, the double locking is provided by an inverted lever, such as that used by Girard Perregaux for his three parallel gold bridge movement.
