Very rare full plate movement with fusee, Smith's patented lever escapement with pirouette, beating the second.. The crown 'scape wheel with five pointed teeth, engaging at right angle the lever which is mounted on the arbor of the pirouette wheel.. White enamel dial and gold "spade" hands. O.T.L. No. 44, illustration No.3. P. & A. Guye, 13 Northampton Square London, No. 6151. Fine three quarter plate movement with the Guye's form of lever escapement, unusual 'scape wheel, inverted roller,compensated balance, free-sprung blued steel balance spring with terminal curve, circa 1880. White enamel dial and bluedsteel "spade" hands.
