Marcks & Co. Ltd.Bombay & Poona, No.1004, Swiss, made for the Indian Market, circa 1900. Impressive 18 ct. gold, enamel, ruby, diamond and pearl-set hunting-cased minute-repeating, keyless grande and petite sonnerie clockwatch, the case in the manner of J. Ferrero.

C. Four body massive, "pomme et gouge" , engraved band and split-pearl set bezels, the covers of green translucent enamel inlaid with old cut diamond motives, each centered with a ruby. Gold cuvette. D. Heavy frosted gold with green champlevé Roman numerals and enamelled roses at each half hour with forgetme- nots in the center, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', frosted and gilt three-quarter plate, twin going barrels with differential winding, 19 visible jewels, counterpoised, adjustable, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, polished Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating on gongs with boit in the banc . Signed on the dial and movement. Very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
