Eska Watch Co., Shutter Watch. Produced in the 1940's.Very fine and unusual, asymmetric, 14K yellow and pink gold, ruby and diamond lady's wristwatch with concealed dial and an 14K yellow gold articulated bracelet.
C. "bombé" asymmetric, bicolored. On one side, a short lever set with diamonds and baguette rubies keeps the shutter closed. When the lever is pressed, the shutter is released and slides into the other end of the case, decorated with yellow gold volutes and pink gold stepped support, set with round diamonds and baguette rubies. The shutter is in yellow gold set with diamonds and repeats the bracelet decoration. D. matte silver with applied gold pyramid and dot indexes. "Flèche" gold hands. M. Ca. 5 ''', oval, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Signed on the movement.Diam.18 x 48 mm. Approx. overall length of the bracelet: 190 mm.
