Mysterieuse RoyaleRoulet Imhof, Swiss, No. 7, made in the 1970's.Very fine and unusual gilt silver, crystal, glass, marble, lapis-lazuli, mother-of-pearl, diamond-set, large Mystery table timepiece. Accompanied by its original leather fitted box and a wooden carrying case.
C. Four glass tapered columns set on a rectangular black marble and lapis lazuli base, gilt brass turned feet, the columns support a rectangular roof also of black marble and lapis lazuli and finished with an octagonal dome with diamond-set top and edges. The mystery piece ? the dial - is suspended from the roof by a lapis-lazuli neck.D. Octagonal, outer lapis-lazuli and black marble, diamond-set indexes for the 3,6,9 and 12, round hardstone indexes for the remaining hours, the center with large faceted piece of crystal with diamond-set hands which appear to float within the crystal. M. Battery-powered quartz movement concealed under the roof dome.Signed on the case and the movement.Dim. 34 x 24 x 16 cm
