Notes

Louis Recordon, a watchmaker from Geneva who settled in London, was Breguet's friend and agent in England, responsible for selling approximately 75 Breguet watches, including some to the British Monarchy. The watch clearly demonstrates Recordon's continental origins. Although the movement is typically English, the case, dial, pull-twist piston through the pendant, and the compensation curb are clearly in the Breguet style.
