Outer: double-body, the back cover with a grisaille enamel painting of two young ladies in Neoclassical costume, one holding a horn-of-plenty, the second, holding a snake in her left hand, classical columns in the background, translucent dark enamel over engine-turned border, the bezels in azure enamel with gold laurel leaves separated by white enamel dots. Inner: double-body, ?bassine?, polished. Chatelaine: two sections, rectangular over circular with blue enamel with three chains, one withmatching key, the other with safety hook for the watch, the third for the seal. D. White enamel, slightly convex, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold "beetle and poker" hands. M. 35.6 mm, hinged, gilt brass, full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, single-footed gilt brass cock with head of Minerva engraved at the base, wheel and worm set-up, gilt dust-cap.Signed on the movement and on the dust-cap.Diam. 50 mm
