Jean-Pierre Mazzel, Mazzel Freres, Paris, circa 1840.Magnificent Covered Gold Goblet, made for the Oriental Market. With French hallmark (used for export, from July 11th, 1840 to April 1, 1879) and maker's mark.
C. Entirely decorated with stylized fleur-de-lis and trefoil designs in green, royal blue, and red guilloché enamel with turquoise enamel accents, decorated with rose-cut diamonds in both the lid and body of the goblet, and in the detachable handles, in 22K yellow gold.
