Brass posted frame with flower and leaf frets to the front and sides, plain side doors, 4 turned vase-shaped finials supporting the top-mounted bell beneath straps and a final, wall hoop and 2 spikes. D. Silvered chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, fleur-de-lys half-hour divisions, inner quarter-hour track, flower engraved centre, alarm setting disc engraved with a stylized rose. Blued steel single hand. M. Weight driven two-train, verge escapement with short-bob-pendulum, striking train with locking plate. Dial signed Peter Stretch. Dim. 38 x 14.5 x 13 cm.
