C. Brass posted frame with foliage and shield frets to the front and sides, plain side doors, 4 turned vase-shaped finials supporting the top-mounted bell beneath straps and a final, wall hoop, iron back. D. Narrow brass chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, fleur-de-lys half-hour divisions, inner quarterhour track, flower engraved centre with a bird below 12, alarm setting disc engraved with a stylized rose. Blued steel single hand. M. Weight driven two-train, verge escapement with large balance wheel without balance spring, striking train with locking plate, verge alarm mechanism mounted on the back. Case signed. Dim. 40 x 13.5 x 14.5 cm.
