?Eureka Electric Clock? Eureka Clock Co. Ltd., London, No. 8632. Made circa 1910. Rare and early, oak-cased, electrically driven mantel clock with Eureka?s patent No. 14614 movement of 1906.
C. Oak, rectangular, the 4 sides with beveled glass, stepped top and base housing the batteries. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, molded brass bezel. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. Brass with spotted decoration, linear plates, massive cut bimetallic compensation balance with peripheral adjustment screws, electrical coil within the steel arm, impulse pin and contact strip, blued steel balance spring. Dim. 33 x 19 x 14.5 cm.
