?The Locomotive? French. Made circa 1890. Very fine and extremely rare, gilt and patinated brass clock in the form of a locomotive with hour and halfhour striking, independent automaton, barometer and thermometer.

D. Brass with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. M. Circular, brass, 2-train, anchor escapement, striking on a bell. Dim. 50 x 44 x 22 cm.
