"The Envelope" Concord Watch Co., Bienne, Swiss, No. 3453. Made circa 1960. Fine and unusual, gold and diamondset purse watch designed as an envelope.

C. Four-body, rectangular, designed as an envelope, basket-weave, the hinged and sprung cover with a diamond set edge, hinged inner case containing the movement. D. Brushed silver with gold applied circular and conical indexes. Gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 7''', rectangular, rhodium- plated, 17 jewels, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed. Dim. 43 x 32 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
