C. Outer: Two-body, hinged, bezel decorated with berries and scrolling foliage. Chased repoussed back depicting a young shepard playing a flute in front of a goat and ox while a dog is lying at his feet. Inner: Two-body, hinged. Chatelaine: Decorated to match the style of the watch. D. White with radial painted black Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions, outermost black Arabic quarter numerals. Gilt ?beetle? hands (damage to one). M. 36.5 mm., gilt full plate, divided pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel balance, flat balance spring, finely pierced and engraved balance cock with a small foot, silver regulation disc. Movement signed. Diam. 30 x 32 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
