Fine silver-cased keyless pocket chronometer with 52.5' karrusel regulator, awarded a class "A" certificate at the Kew Observatory. Three body "pomme et filets" polished case with gold hinges. pendant and bow. Silver cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. marked with the awarded prize. Gold "spade" hands. GiIt brass three quarter plate 20" movement with a going barrel, 18 jewels in gold screwed setting. English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, balance spring with terminal curve, free sprung. The escapement is set on a 52.5' revolving carriage. Signed on the dial and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
