Fine and very rare 18k gold watch with equation of time and a double calendar, in the original leather fitted case. Double body "Directoire" polished case. The winding hole on the back closed by a shutter. Offset white enamel dial with Breguet numerals. the inner mobile equation disk with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the date and the months with the indication of their number of days. Gold arrow hands. Full plate giIt brass movement with cylindrical pillars. fusee and chain. verge escapement with a plain brass three armed balance, continental cock with a polished steel endpiece. The equation work with a rack and a kidney, drawn from the type invented in 1736 by Julien Le Roy for clocks and regulators, drives the equation disk clockwise and anciclockwise in order to show the difference between the mean time and the solar time. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition, with a key. Diam. 55 mm.
