Lequin & Yersin, Fleurier, made for the Islamic market, circa 1880. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel diamond inlaid hunting cased keyless watch, with a diamond set matching chain and medaillon.

Four body massive "bassine" case with a reeded band and finely engraved borders, pendant and bow, the cover and the back of red translucent enamel over engine turning, a rose diamond inlaid decoration and outer cloisonné enamelled ornaments over a blue background (slightly restored). Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "dessins" hands. GiIt brass 18"' movement, 14 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
