Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1870. Extremely fine 18 ct. gold enamel diamond and ruby set keyless fob watch with a "pietra dura" dial and a matching ruby and diamond set gold and enamel chain.

Three piece "demi-bassine" case, the back with white champlevé enamelled strips, the band, the bezel and the bow set with calibrated diamonds, the pendant with a ruby cabochon. Very fine bloodstone dial with gold Arabic numerals on white agate inlaid cartouches and outer lapis lazuli inlaid minute ring with diamond set divisions. Gold diamond set hands. Gilt brass movement, 12 jewels, cylinder escapement with a plain three armed gilt brass balance. In very good condition. Diam. 28 mm.
