Unusual 20 ct. gold pair cased "night and day" watch. Double body "onion" outer case engraved overall with birds, scrolls and flowers (slightly worn), plain double body bassine inner case. Gold champlevé night and day dial, the hours are marked by the sun and the moon on Roman numerals set on the border of a semi circular aperture, outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel single hand. GiIt brass full plate movement with tulip pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with a plain steel three armed balance and an English cock. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
