A. Lange & Sôhne, Glashütte B/Dresden, No. 41266, circa 1895. Very fine and rare 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless watch with an enamelled photographic portrait.

Four body massive "Lucia Royal pattern" polished case, a monogram engraved on the cover. Gold cuvette with the portrait of the Banker Bleichrôder, and the engraved dates: April 16, 1847 - April 16, 1897.White enamel three piece dial with Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Fine glazed frosted gilt brass 18' three quarter plate l a quality movement, 27 jewels in screwed settings, gold straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with diamond endstone, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the dial, the case and the movement. In excellent mint condition. Diam. 53 mm. This watch was presented by Mr. Bleichrôder the banker of the last Kaisers, to Herrn Wilhelm Weber, the Bürgermeister of the district of Berlin-Steglitz on the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the bank. The watch has descended directly through the family
