B. Haas Jeune & Cie., Genève, Paris, Swiss, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased double dial moon phase astronomical keyless watch with an independent triple calendar.
Four body massive "pomme et filets" case, chased overall with scrolls and foliage. White enamel dial on the front face with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds and Moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. White enamel dial on the rear face with the dates on an outer black chapter ring, small subsidiary rings for the months and the days of the week. Blued steel hands. Nickel plated 1 8 ' movement with a gold train of wheels, 18 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. An additional motion work, driven by the center wheel, operates the calendar by means of a pin pushing a lever. Signed on the calendar dial. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
