C.H. Meylan - Brassus, made for Windsor C.Pierce - Boston, in 1914. Fine 18 ct. gold minute repeating moon phase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar, split second chronograph, and 30 minute recorder in original mahogany fitted case.
Four body massive "demi-bassine et filets" polished case. Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1914. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with the leap year cycle, the date and the subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "pear" hands. Fine rhodium plated 18- movement, " fausses côtes" decoration, 39 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, superior adjustment, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band, chronograph with visible work, the split second push piece and the locking boit on the band. Signed on the movement. In very good condition.
