Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1810. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel pearl set watch with an automaton scene.

Three body "Empire" case, glazed both sides with split pearl set bezel.White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer minute ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. Fine enamel lake side landscape (restored) painted on the rear with a three automaton four coloured gold mounted scene depicting a falconer's horse drinking in a fountain, a small windmill on the back . Full plate double train movement with going barrels both for the going train, with cylinder escapement and plain brass three armed balance, and for the train setting the automatons in motion by means of cams and levers, with a boit on the hand. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
