Unsigned, made by the Stauffer family, Les Ponts de Martel, Swiss, circa 1930. Fine gilt brass eight day going minute repeating "grande sonnerie" small carriage clock with alarm, in original fitted case.

GiIt brass case, the handle on the top. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Blued steel "pear" hands. Rectangular eight day going giIt brass movement with going barrels, 13 jewels, straight line lever platform escapement with cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating and alarm on gongs, the repeating button on the top. White enamel alarum setting dial on the back plate. Silent/strike selection button on the base. In good condition. Dim. 85x60x45 mm. Similar clock illustrated and described in Allix and Bonnert: Cardage Clock, page 322.
