Foliate engraved "gorge" case, the panels on four sides decorated with birds and flowers on a black ground. White chapter circle with black Roman hour chapters, red Arabic five minute numerals, with alarm, ring below. Blued steel " poires stuart" hands. Rectangular brass movement with going barrel. Frosted and silvered platform with English-type lateral lever escapement, with compensation screw balance. Strike, repeat and alarm on a gong. Signed on the dial, numbered on the movement. In very good condition. Dim. 14.7 x 15 X 9.1 cm excluding handle.
