'Fine "mignonette" carriage clock with "Sèvres" style porcelain panels. GiIt brass "cannelée" case with engraved bright-cut decoration, panels on all sides and the top decorated with polychrome landscape scenes and figures in 18th century costume within "jewelled" gilt borders on royal blue ground. White chapter-ring with Roman numerals. GiIt "poires" hands. Rectangular brass movement with going barrel, cylinder platform escapement. Stamped patent mark and initial F.G. on backplate. In good condition. Dim. 9.2 x 6.5 x 5.7 cm. excluding handle.
