A rare "double-dial" timepiece carriage clock. Lacquered brass "corniche" case glazed on all sides. White enamel dials on both the back and front with Roman hour chapters. Blued steel "poires stuart" hands. Rectangular brass movement with going barrel. Lever platform escapement. Winding, hand-set and regulation by means of right angle contrate wheel driven through the underside of the base. Marked Breveté S.G.D.G. on one dial. In very good condition. Dim. 12.6 x 7.3 cm. excluding handle.
